Terms and Conditions for Supporters
By making a monthly payment, you agree to the following terms:
1. Purpose of the Funding Program
1.1 This funding program ("Program") is initiated by Radiator Productions Ltd, a film production company, in partnership with Stop Lying In Politics Ltd(name subject to change), a not-for-profit social enterprise. The Program is dedicated to taking direct, impactful action to:
- Investigate public office holders for abuses of the criminal law and public trust.
- Expose wrongdoing through documentary filmmaking
- Prosecute offenders under private prosecutions (United Kingdom, Prosecution of Offences Act 1985).
1.2 Monthly payments will be used to drive these activities, holding powerful public officials to account under the criminal law and creating a better world by challenging dishonesty and abuse at the highest levels.
1.3 Radiator Productions Ltd operates on a for-profit basis, and proceeds from the sale of the documentary will belong to Radiator Productions Ltd. Marcus J Ball, its owner, intends to use these funds to rebuild his life following extreme court debts taken on as part of his role leading Stop Lying In Politics Ltd's previous private prosecution work. If the documentary work sells exceptionally well then some of those funds may also be used to invest in the work of Stop Lying In Politics Ltd.
2. Supporter Liability
2.1 Supporters have no legal responsibilities or obligations beyond their financial contribution.
2.2 Participation is voluntary, and supporters accept the inherent risks associated with the Program. These include, but are not limited to, the possibility that:
- The documentary may not be completed.
- Investigative or prosecutorial objectives may not be achieved.
2.3 Radiator Productions Ltd, Stop Lying In Politics Ltd, and Marcus J Ball assume legal and financial liabilities for the Program.
3. Use of Funds
3.1 Monthly payments may be allocated to a range of expenses, including but not limited to:
- Film production and post-production costs (e.g., editing, animation, filming).
- Legal fees and consultancy for investigations and prosecutions.
- Operational, employee, and contractor salaries, expenses, and costs essential to investigations, exposure, and prosecutions.
3.2 Allocation of funds will be at the discretion of Marcus J Ball to ensure the Program’s objectives are achieved.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 All payments are non-refundable. Supporters acknowledge that funds may be spent immediately upon receipt to advance the Program.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 All intellectual property rights related to the documentary belong to Radiator Productions Ltd. Monthly payments do not entitle supporters to any ownership, licensing, or distribution rights.
6. Communication with Supporters
6.1 Supporters will receive updates primarily via email and social media platforms (e.g., Twitter/X). It is the supporter’s responsibility to provide accurate contact information.
6.2 Sensitive information may be withheld if its disclosure could hinder the Program’s objectives or jeopardize its success.
7. Privacy Policy
7.1 Supporters’ personal information provided during this Program will be used solely for Program purposes and will not be shared with third parties, except for service providers (e.g., Mailchimp) used to facilitate communication, data analysis, or other strategic functions.
7.2 We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your data and will never sell your information.
8. Governing Law
8.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Radiator Productions Ltd, Stop Lying In Politics Ltd, and Marcus J Ball are not liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond their control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
10. Acknowledgment of Risks
10.1 By contributing, supporters acknowledge the ambitious and challenging nature of the Program. While all reasonable efforts will be made to achieve the stated objectives, success is not guaranteed.
11. Consent to Communication
11.1 By contributing, supporters consent to receiving email updates and other communications regarding our work, progress, and related activities. Supporters may opt out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in our emails.
By making a monthly payment, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
